Introduction.

                                                                                                         Image: 2

Armstrong (2012) explains talent management is the process of maintaining and retaining talent to ensure that an organization has the talent it needs to meet its business objectives.

"Talent management is a bridging discipline that incorporates information from human resource management techniques" (Sparrow, 2014)

The importance of talent management as a crucial element that supports the business environment's competitive environment is growing (McDonnell et al., 2017)

According to Festing (2013), many organizations are emphasizing talent management practices. It cannot be duplicated in all environments with the same design, though.

What talent is.

Talent is what people have when they have the skills, abilities, and aptitudes necessary to perform well in their professions, according to (Armstrong, 2012) With their immediate efforts, they improve organizational performance, and they have the potential to make a significant impact in the future. The goal of talent management is to locate, hire, retain, and grow these outstanding individuals.

 Concept of Talent Management.

                                                                                                               Image: 4

According to Dooher and Marting (1957) talent management training has existed since that year. But talent management has also become much more of a focus in recent years. Research publications on the idea of talent management have therefore gained in popularity.

The integration of organizational systems, practices, and policies, according to Wright and McMahan (1992) safeguards the success of talent management. The ability to think critically is what will make talent management a highly useful endeavour for human resource management.

The capital, according to Schiemann (2014) is distinguished by the strengths and makes them a valuable asset to the organization. Although a company's brilliant employees are a valuable asset, they are also flexible organizational resources.

According to Schiemann (2014) talented people capitalize on strengths and make them a valuable asset to the organization. Although talented people are an asset to an organization, they are also resources that the organization can control.

The elements of talent management

                                                                                                            Figure:  1

                                                                                                          Figure:  2

 Talent Management for innovation.

                                                                                                          Image: 5

The complete range of human resource procedures, such as recruiting new employees, retaining high-performing employees, and developing current employees, are crucial parts of talent management. Each element is connected to the others. In particular, it is a strategy on which the human resource management concentrates to achieve the corporate objectives.

According to Schuler et al. (2011) there is a global shortage of trained human resources, making it crucial for organizations to keep their best personnel.

The individual employees need to feel that they are a part of the organization's larger operation. Programs for employee development that are engaging and well-thought-out must be created by human resource managers. The employees' abilities need to be periodically updated and improved. According to McDonnell et al. (2017) human resource managers must approach talent management from a multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary perspective. The managers must gather data from the staff before designing and implementing talent management.

According to Botjancic and Slana (2018) human resource managers should possess the following traits: a desire to learn, the ability to pick up new information, motivation, a drive to grow, an ambitious spirit, initiative, and a sense of self-motivation. They should also be curious. Positioning the organization effectively based on the talent it has recruited is the main problem.

 Conclusion.

                                                                                                          Image: 6

The thorough concept of talent management, its importance for the growth of the organization, its importance in managing competitive business, the importance of skills used by human resources for managing talent, and the importance of innovation in talent management have all been made clear by the systematic review on the topic of talent management strategies in human resource management. Talent management strategies have been in use for a long time in various organizations. Yet, since the corporate organization must concentrate on the competitive environment, the idea has drawn greater attention. The goals of an organization's talent management initiatives must be clear.

  12. As part of talent management, we predict that HR will invest in more personalized workplace learning that is linked to what people are interested in learning and the ways they prefer to learn. As (vulpen, 2023) shows, HR can ensure that employees are learning what’s relevant to them in an engaging manner. To do this, HR will have to refresh many old learning habits and replace these with more contemporary techniques.
